Suffolk Artlink seeks new board members

Are you interested in the creative arts? Would you like to be involved as a trustee in an organisation that gives a wide range of opportunities for disadvantaged people to enjoy creative experiences?

Artlink is a vibrant, successful and financially stable registered charity supported by a range of funders including Suffolk County Council and Arts Council England East.

Suffolk Artlink works with older people, people with dementia, people with learning disabilities, carers, young people who are excluded from school for various reasons and children in hospital. Their exciting and well attended projects are led by professional artists from all disciplines.

Artlink would welcome applications to join the Board from people with an interest in the arts and with experience in any of the areas above. We are especially keen to welcome onto the Board people with expertise in finance, in disability issues, or experts by experience of disability.

The Board meets bi-monthly with an AGM in July. There is no remuneration for trustees, but travel expenses are covered.

They should send this with a CV, to Chris Warner, Director, Suffolk Artlink, 1 Miles Ward Court, Halesworth, Suffolk, IP19 8AY or e-mail these to [email protected]

The closing date for applications is Monday 14th September 2009 at 5pm.
