Hello – just a round-up of some library events taking place after Christmas:

Meet local author Rosy Thornton at Ipswich County Library who is giving a free talk about her book Sandlands at 2pm on 28 December. Halesworth Library are currently running a special winter treasure hunt throughout the town.  For £1 you can pick up an entry form in the library and then find the snowmen in various shop windows in Halesworth. Each snowman has a letter which can then be rearranged to make festive words. If you find the correct answers you can enter into a draw for a chance of winning £50. The treasure hunt is running until Wednesday 4 January.

Clare Library are holding a beginners’ astronomy evening on Thursday 12 January at 7pm. Come along for a beginners’ astronomy talk and live stargazing (weather permitting) with John Underdown. Please contact the library to book your place.
