The Suffolk Show is a day out like no other – a traditional county show and a unique celebration of food, farming and the countryside, plus as much all round family entertainment as it’s possible to imagine. You’ll be amazed at how much there is to see and do – spectacular grand ring displays, local food and drink, fabulous shopping, have a go activities, unique exhibits and hundreds of animals to see. There’s nowhere better to get close up and explore the giant beast that is a modern day tractor.
The must see Military Zone is back and full of magnificent interactive displays along with the Sports Zone where you can check out a whole host of different sports.
Countryside and County – Food and farming is at the heart of the Suffolk Show with top quality, best in breed animals, machinery from the past 100 years alongside the very latest farming technology. The new Horse and Country Ring will showcase the Great British countryside traditions – heaven for lovers of rural life.
For horse lovers, there is a full programme of top class show jumping, side saddle classes, Shetland Pony Grand National, Inter Hunt Relay and carriage driving!
Fabulous Food and Drink – We are on a mission to showcase the best Suffolk food and drink. The Foodhall is packed with local produce to taste and buy for a quiet picnic or to cook up a treat at home. A wide choice of refreshments are available all over the Show ‘street food style’ and there are plenty of quiet corners where you can enjoy your own picnic.
The Cookery Theatre attracts a line-up of top local chef talent, eager to share skills and tips with the audience.
Amazing Animals – As a traditional county show, we are the perfect place to come face-to-face with amazing animals. Fabulous Suffolk Horses, hundreds of best in class livestock and the cute and fluffy in the Children’s Farm and Rabbit Show. See animals groomed to perfection in the Show rings and watch the expert judges select their Show Champions.
Fresh from the cliffs of Cornwall you can even see the stunning horses and stunt riders from the BBC Poldark TV series.
Shop ‘til You Drop – Local food and drink, one off art from the Art Show, boutique fashion, stylish loveliness for home and garden, hand crafted items of all descriptions…. The Suffolk Show really is Suffolk’s Biggest Shop. A unique, not on the high-street shopping experience…luxurious, quirky, great value, one off – it’s all on offer for two days only.
