NEWS FROM THE MNR
PANNIER TANK 9466 TAKES OVER STEAM SERVICES
Commencing Saturday 23rd July and running each weekend until August Bank Holiday Monday, GWR design Pannier Tank No. 9466 is in charge of hauling the MNR’s Steam Services for the remainder of the Summer Season.
On 13th & 14th August 9466 will run in a “Country Branch Line” weekend providing Steam Hauled Services, in contrast to those of the MNR’s Diesel Multiple Unit, which it will pass at the Thuxton Station passing loop. A Special Timetable will apply.
On Sunday 7th and 21st August 9466’s 3.30pm departure can optionally provide scrumptious Cream Teas for which Fares are increased to £13 Adult and £8 Children, please use the booking form to be found on the website or call 01362-851723.
