SWING INTO SUNSET AT THE FORUM

FREE CONCERT – FRI 5 JULY 2013 – 5.30-8pm

The Forum, in Norwich, is putting on a free outdoor music concert, in the city centre, to get the annual Lord Mayor’s Celebration weekend off to a swinging start.

Jonathan Wyatt and his Big Band will be serving up summer helpings of classic 40s and 50s dance music, on Millennium Plain, on Friday 5 July.

Swing into Sunset starts at 5.30 and goes on until 8pm. The Forum is providing a limited number of chairs on Millennium Plain – arrive early to bag yours!
Alternatively, bring your own chair, take a seat on The Forum’s steps or enjoy the music from Cafe Bar Marzano and Pizza Express.

Jonathan Wyatt will transport you back to the 1940s and 50s when musical masters such as Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and Count Basie were top of the hit parade.

The evening will feature a selection of numbers including Mack the Knife, Let’s Face the Music and Dance, Cheek to Cheek, Sing Sing Sing and In The Mood.

If you fancy a dance go ahead. It’s the start of a big summer weekend in Norwich.
