The Big Bungay Cabaret

The Big Bungay Cabaret is Back! The Pittsburgh USA contingent are booked (The Sleaze plus entourage), and unbelievably so is Les Bubb the internationally renown comedian.

Also on the bill are some of the very best from the Amsterdam cabaret scene and one of the supreme comic acts from the famous London Comedy Store – Randolph the Remarkable.

The brainchild of local performance hero Jon McKenna, the Big Bungay Cabaret (BBC for short) is truly the people’s cabaret and it’s back by very popular demand.

After a two year break this popular event will take place on Saturday 29th March at the Kings Head, Bungay.

The Cabaret is famed not just for its alternative acts but by the level of audience participation. The ‘dress code’ for the audience is ‘wild and outrageous’. Previous cabarets have seen Elvis impersonators, the cast of Grease and the ‘Up Pompei Convention’. Sounds bizaare – it is!

The BBC really is the people’s cabaret because so much of the creativity is with the audience. The much-coveted ‘Golden Crow’ award, will be presented to the best themed group (table and costume) and people have access to dress their tables at the Kings Head from 2.00pm on the day of the event.

Tickets for this unique event are £15 each and available at Wightman’s, Black Dog Antiques and the Kings Head from the 8th March. For further information about this event email Pam Plews at [email protected]
