The Bungay Bridal Affair takes place in Bungay from Saturday 2nd June – Saturday 16th June 2007

The events are:

Saturday 2nd June 2.30pm
Wedding March – parade of brides from the Community Centre to The Butter Cross, then around the town collecting for the Friends of St. Mary’s until they hear the bells ring out at 3.30pm when they will make their way to the church for a glass of champagne.

Tuesday 5th June – Thursday 7th June, 10.30am – 4.30pm
Display of Bungay Brides’ gowns. Opened on Tuesday by two golden couples, each celebrating their golden weddings, each married in St. Mary’s in 1957.

Sunday 10th June – Wedding Fair 2.30pm – 5pm
at The Fisher Theatre, including fashion show and hair and beauty demonstrations.

Saturday 16th June – 4.30pm
Wedding Speeches – announcements of competition winners at The Visitors’ Centre.

Throughout the two weeks there will be taking part in a over 30 shops, all with wedding themed window displays,’spot the celebrity couple’ competition for shoppers to win a romantic evening for two in Bungay.
