Bill and June Boardman reach a milestone on the 27th May 2012 when they open their beautiful “Garden in an Orchard” at Bergh Apton for the National Gardens Scheme for the twentieth year.

NGS Ambassador Alan Gray visited the garden recently to present Bill and June with a fork in recognition of their tremendous achievement in raising over £20,000 for the caring charities supported by the NGS. The fork will join the trowel awarded after ten years of garden opening for the NGS.

Bill said “it is hard work getting the garden ready for the big day but the pleasure it gives so many visitors is ample reward”

The recent wet spell has produced exceptional and long lasting spring flower displays and the Garden in an Orchard is looking its best so why not visit on Sunday 27th May 2012 when Bill and June will be pleased to greet you!

The full details of all the gardens opening for the NGS can be found in the Norfolk Gardens 2012 booklet which is available in Libraries, TICs, garden centres and nurseries. Information is also available on www.ngs.org.uk
