Norwich University Hospital fete

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital will be holding a Careers Fair at its Open Day and Fete on Saturday, 10 June 2017.

The event, which takes place between 11am and 4pm in the East Atrium of the hospital, is open to anyone looking to begin or continue their hospital career in nursing, medical or allied health professions.

Emma McKay, Director of Nursing said: ““We look forward to welcoming visitors and sharing with them why we love working at the NNUH.

“This event is ideal for nurses seeking NMC registration through a Return to Practice or Overseas programme, or nurses wishing to refresh their acute care skills in preparation for employment at the NNUH through a Supervised Practice programme.”

Visitors will be able to speak to recruitment and training experts in the careers fair based in the east atrium at the open day and fete. There will also be an opportunity to take tours of theatres, pharmacy and the cancer treatment centre at the hospital and to find out about the wide range of services, the state-of-the-art facilities and developments within the hospital.

Other attractions at the open day include visiting the new skin cancer microscope, making a plaster mould of your hand, taking part in traditional fete games, browsing the cake and craft stalls, listening to live music or taking your teddy for an X-ray. Young visitors on the day will be able to follow a special ‘sea creature’ trail around the hospital to collect stamps in their passport and qualify for a goody bag.
