Walk into Winter Wildlife at Pensthorpe

For an inspiring and expert insight into all the wonderful winter wildlife and beauty at Pensthorpe, host of the popular BBC Springwatch series, join a Guided Winter Walk, being held at the nature reserve on Thursday 4th February from 8.30am to 10.30am.

Your guides will be Pensthorpe’s head gardener Imogen Checketts and warden Ed Braham-Jones, who will take visitors on a tour of the stunning gardens and wildflower meadow, with its regionally important species, through to the bustling Wader Scrape. They will identify the season’s flora and fauna including the visiting wildfowl and will be on hand to answer any questions.

Deb Jordan, joint owner of Pensthorpe said: “There’s plenty happening at Pensthorpe over the winter months and I always think it is a lovely time of year to see wildlife, the gardens and the landscape . It’s also one of the best times to see the waterfowl in their striking breeding plumage. Imogen and Ed are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, so visitors are guaranteed a very interesting walk.”

Admission is £2.50 per person, which is in addition to the entrance fee to the reserve. For more information or to book your place call 01328 851465 or visit www.pensthorpe.com
