Children-at-Pensthorpe

Be astounded by the wonders of the natural world at Pensthorpe Wildlife & Gardens in Norfolk this May half-term as the Reserve plays host to family event Nature Wonderland between 25th May and 2nd June 2013 (10am – 5pm).

Discover the ‘wonder animals’ that share our world and take the fun, self-guided Wonder Trail as it weaves its way around the Reserve. Learn about cuckoos and woodpeckers, find out about the beezare honey bee eyes and discover what makes bats one of the creepiest creatures on earth!

The whole family will enjoy playing the nature games and for those who answer all the Wonder Trail questions correctly, there’ll be a special prize.

After exploring the Reserve and learning all about nature, why not discover hidden areas of the Reserve on the Wensum Discovery Tour. See parts of the estate the public wouldn’t normally see and uncover the fascinating Pensthorpe history whilst sitting in the comfort of its purpose-built Landrover and trailer.

Kirsty Willingham, Events Manager at Pensthorpe Wildlife & Gardens comments: “Learning about nature is an important part of Pensthorpe and our Nature Wonderland event gives families a chance to explore Pensthorpe, learning some fun facts on the way. Come and soak up plenty of fresh air and have some good, old-fashioned fun!”

Nature Wonderland is included in the normal admission price.
