Believe in the idea of a better community spirit?
Want to buy good food more economically?
Yes? Then come to two short talks with Mik Bedson of Suffolk
ACRE and Gemma Sayers, East of England Food Co-ops
Adviser for Sustain/The Food Co-ops Project.
Who? Suffolk ACRE (Action with Communities in Rural
England) has been working for nearly 80 years to help
communities in Suffolk make partnerships and tackle their
needs through community action.
Are there opportunities here in Halesworth?
The Food Co-ops Project has supported hundreds of
communities across the UK to set up their own food
co-operative over the last 5 years, as part of the
Making Local Food Work programme.
Here? Want to get food at affordable prices, have some say
over how it’s produced and what’s been done to it?
Come along and find out how others have done this.
Could something be done in and around our town?
When and where?
