SILVER SUNDAY Museum 4 Watton
Norman Phillips showing Martin Anscombe part of the exhibition

Museum 4 Watton will be opening on Sunday, October 7th as part of the Silver Sunday celebrations. Everyone will be welcome to come and enjoy the museum. There will be free tea, coffee and biscuits served in the Council Chamber and Volunteers on hand to guide and help visitors.

Whilst  it is usually not possible for wheelchair users to access the museum due to problems with Listed Building permission, Watton Town Council has kindly agreed, for one day only, to allow access to the museum via their disabled entrance and their offices.

Trustee John Greenbrook explained how pleased the Trustees are to be able to share the museum with a wider audience, although there are still parts of the museum which will unfortunately be inaccessible to some. There will, however, be a video presentation covering such parts

Anyone who uses a wheelchair is asked to contact the museum in advance in order to avoid any overcrowding on the day. They may be contacted on 01953-797060 – if no one is there, please leave a voicemail message, or email [email protected].
