Woodgate Nursery, Aylsham is delighted to announce its popular Garden Show is back this June in aid of The Benjamin Foundation and The Aylsham Roman Project – Woodgate Nursery, is home to an archaeological site which won the prize for the best community archaeology project in the country in 2016.

The free to attend garden show will take place on June 10th and 11th between 10am – 4.30pm and will aim to build on the success of last year’s event which welcomed more than 3,000 people and raised £1490 for The Liz Jones Memorial Trust.

Packed full of inspiration for the garden, the annual show is a great day out for everyone including budding young gardeners who can have their face painted, compete in a fun treasure hunt and a raffle to win £200 worth of garden goodies.

You can be truly inspired by our garden designers, including Ian Cooper – IFC landscapes, and Gill Gorringe and James Hawke from Perfect Surroundings Garden Design.

These local garden designers will also be battling it out for visitor’s votes to be crowned the winner of the best garden design.

Plus the show has now grown with over 30 additional craft stands under one roof.  Rusty Robot occasions have helped with the expansion and are calling out for extra stall holders, please contact Mathew Lambert on 07767 703908 if you would like to have a stall over the weekend.

About Woodgate Nursery

A traditional plant nursery located just outside the beautiful market town of Aylsham, the business was established in 1982 by Peter Purdy as a hobby.

With a passion for gardening, Peter started growing plants on a plot of land backing on to this house, selling his creations by the roadside. Fast forward a few years and today this hobby has grown into Woodgate Nursery. A thriving business stocking more than 700 varieties of Herbaceous Perennials, shrubs, vegetable plants, trees, ferns, roses, hedging and bog plants.

But what hasn’t changed is Peter’s wish to provide customers with the best possible range of plants along with friendly, personal service.
