Supported by The Journal & The Marina Theatre a number of prominent local businesses and organisations will be taking part and there is still an opportunity to submit teams for the event.

The race takes place in London Rd North, outside The Westgate Department Store and prizes will be awarded for the team with the fastest time and runners up following a series of heats.

Town Centre manager Emma King said: “The retailers in Lowestoft are delighted to be able to continue this special tradition and there will be some prizes for the winning teams. Over the coming months we hope to be announcing a number of other exciting events taking place in our town centre”

The first race will commence at 11am.
