Seeing one of our helicopters land can be an interesting sight - but itโ€™s essential that you stay safe. We've put together some tips for helicopter safety so if you see Anglia One (Norwich) or Anglia Two (Cambridge) across the region, here's how you can do so without risk to yourself:

๐ŸšIf you see our aircraft circling around your location and you're in an open area of land, please move to edge. Dogs should also be placed on leads.๐ŸšDonโ€™t downplay the downwash from the helicopter rotors; they are extremely powerful, noisy and will throw dust and debris into the air.๐ŸšNever approach a helicopter when engines are running and rotor blades are turning, and always give the crew plenty of space.๐ŸšRespect the dignity of the patient and their family by not taking photos or video while we place them on the helicopter.๐ŸšOn departure, there could be a change of plan and the helicopter may need to return to the area, so stay out of the landing site until the aircraft is completely out of view.#airambulance #helicopter #emergencyservice ... THIS FRIDAY (19th April) we're thrilled to welcome Eastern Angles back to The Corn Hall with a rip-roaring comedy 'Stones in His Pockets' - already a hit in Dublin, Edinburgh and London's West End.

This much-loved regional theatre company always present such wonderful shows and have a strong following here in their East Anglian home. So join us on Friday to venture across the Irish Sea to County Kerry to meet local lads Jake and Charlie who are working as extras on a Hollywood epic movie that has taken over their small village in rural Ireland. Switching from plucky Irish extra to know-it-all American movie star with a flick of the wrist, Jake and Charlie take on all 15 characters to tell the story of the impact this movie has on their local community. The result is a sad, hilarious and irresistible play that pushes the boundaries of storytelling. Don't miss it!>> Book now! Angles Theatre Company ... See MoreSee Less

As the children have gone back to school (and the weather appears to have temporarily gone back to winter!) we have now switched to our term-time operating calendar.

During term-time, Mondays and Tuesdays are โ€˜Gardenersโ€™ Daysโ€™ which means that the Museum and Gardens are open to visit but there are no trains or Gallopers running. Ticket prices reflect this.Wednesdays to Sundays (inclusive) each week continue to be our Steam Days which means that, along with the Museum and Gardens being open, you can also enjoy rides on a minimum of two of our passenger railways and our wonderful Gallopers will be spinning. Donโ€™t forget that, whichever day you choose to visit Bressingham Steam and Gardens on, you will always save by booking online at And youโ€™ll also find all the details about our wonderful programme of special events throughout the year here too.
