Extra screening of The Kings Speech
scheduled due to rush for tickets

Due to the demand for tickets, Diss Corn Hall has decided to schedule a third screening of the film The King’s Speech at 8pm on Monday 9th May to give as many people as possible the chance to see the Oscar-winning film starring Colin Firth.

The film, which has played to packed audiences around the world, tells the fascinating story of George VI’s struggle to cure his stammer and gives a witty and elegant new perspective on the abdication crisis and on the dysfunctional quiver at the heart of pre-war Britain.

Corn Hall manager Angela Sykes commented “Two screenings were already planned for 8pm on Thursday 5th May and 3pm in the afternoon on Saturday 7th May but tickets have been selling so fast we were worried that some who wanted to see it might miss out.”

Tickets £4 / students £2. To book ring 01379 652241, visit the box office in the Old Stables or go to www.disscornhall.co.uk
