Dear All,

We’ll be back again later this month with the Oscar-nominated THEEB (15), an adventure film set in Jordan not far from the locations where LAWRENCE OF ARABIA was shot.  In the meantime, Fisher Theatre Cinema has a great line-up this month.  Cate Blanchett is on terrific form in CAROL (15), a stylish adaptation of a Patricia Highsmith novel set in 50s New York showing at 7.30 pm on Monday 5 September.

If you’re missing the Olympic action, why not try EDDIE THE EAGLE (PG), a good-natured comedy biopic, at 7.30 pm on Monday 12 September?  At 7.30 pm on Monday 19 September the Fisher will be screening the 1968 version of THE PRODUCERS (PG) as part of the theatre’s tenth anniversary celebrations.

Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel star in this classic musical comedy about a theatre impresario who sets out to stage the worst production ever…  SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER!  A timely tribute to Gene Wilder, best known as Willy Wonka in the original film adaptation of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, who died this week.

All Fisher Theatre Cinema seats £5.  Apologies, no reductions for film club members.

Tickets available at the Fisher Box Office or online. For further information and trailers visit www.fishertheatre.org.

Monday 26 September at 7.30 pm.
