National Youth Brass Band in Beccles,

After a spectacular visit in 2012, the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain will be returning to St Michael’s Church, Beccles on Friday 8th August 2014 to give a concert celebrating the end of its summer course.

The Band’s current Artistic Director Bram Tovey has invited Major Michelle A. Rakers of the  “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band to guest conduct  the course, and cornet and trumpet player Staff Sergeant Amy McCabe to be the guest soloist.

The Band has prepared a truly exciting programme including old favourites such as ‘Stars and Stripes for Ever’, plus ‘Tombeau’ by Band President and Beccles resident, Elgar Howarth.

Concert starts 7.30pm but please arrive early to secure tickets & best seats.
