Great inspiration:
Our ‘stigmARTa’ Exhibition led to 14 year old Sara selling her entire collection to a corporate organisation through the gallery, Sara will have a solo event here at The Upstairs Gallery in November this year, well done Sara!

The Upstairs Gallery has won 10 awards to date, including Best Small Tourism Attraction 2008/2009 and finalist 2010. Pride in the community, and Regeneration and Development awards.

In 2012, the gallery has gained a Bronze Award for green energy, alongside sponsorship assistance from Suffolk County Council to replace lighting.

The Upstairs Gallery also provides voluntary teams to help with the operational requirements of the gallery, and support is always needed. To date, many of our volunteers are supported in re-employment opportunities, with references inclusive of skills provided.

None of our staff and team members are paid. The gallery was founded in 2007.

We are seeking assistance for artists hardship funds, as well as mentoring and business skills for artists.
