Backstage Past- Access all Eras

Stimulating senses on a journey through the Theatre’s history from its Regency beginnings to the present day. Backstage and on-stage, see evocative period settings from different eras, listen to the sounds of times gone by, discover through touch, try on a costume, and even smell the past! Backstage Past – Access All Eras, is an engaging and vibrant experience that celebrates 200 years of the Theatre’s story through guided tours, exhibitions and installations. Take a journey back in time and experience the Theatre in a whole new light!
A Summer Night’s Dream

Lights Music Action presents the ‘best bits’ from the LMA seniors this year complete with some exciting new additions! After a jam packed year including two musicals, the new musical ’13’ from Jason Robert Brown and Andrew Lloyd Webbers classic ‘CATS’ the students will be working their socks off to bring you an evening of class and sophistication, with a little Avenue Q thrown in for good measure! With Musical numbers spanning all genres to Contemporary dance and hilarious and moving sketches, this year proves to be one of the best ever; with an outstanding group of dedicated students many of whom are already paving the way for a professional future in performing arts.
Little Shop of Horrors

Seymour, an orphan and a nerd, is taken in and given a job by Mr Mushnik, the owner of a rundown florist in the seedy part of town. Seymour spends his days doing menial tasks and dreaming about the shop assistant Audrey. One day he finds a very mysterious unidentified plant which he buys and calls Audrey 11. While caring for Audrey 11, Seymour discovers the plant’s rather unique appetite. The plant grows and grows, as does Seymour’s infatuation for Audrey, but who will succeed. Will Audrey 11 take over the world or will Seymour and Audrey finally defeat it?
