With a fiery Celtic style, Canada’s Còig offers a fresh and exhilarating mix of traditional tunes, lively instrumentals and contemporary songs performed on over a dozen instruments (vocals, fiddles, guitar, banjo, mandolin, viola, bouzouki, whistles, and more).
Bury Bach Choir: Fauré Requiem

Fauré Requiem, with selected choral classics, including music by Mozart and Elgar.
In this ‘Welcome Back’ concert, the Bury Bach Choir performs a mixed programme of sacred and secular music spanning 500 years, from the leading Tudor composer Thomas Tallis, through works by Mozart, Bruckner and Elgar, right up to the present day with music by Tavener and James MacMillan.
The main work is Fauré’s Requiem, an intimate and gentle response to the Latin Mass quite unlike those of Berlioz or Verdi. Consolation in bereavement is the composer’s goal in what has become his most popular work.

Danny & Luke From Thunder

Thunder founder members Danny Bowes (singer) and Luke Morley (guitarist) will be in conversation with rock writer Mick Wall, talking through the highs and lows of life in Britain’s popular and enduring rock band.
Having toured the UK in 2019 with a two-man stripped back ‘Unplugged and Unscripted’ show, Danny and Luke return with a new book.
Their book ‘Danny Bowes and Luke Morley – The First 50 Years’ will form the backdrop of each show, with acoustic renditions of Thunder classic songs, in between the stories and chat. Poignant, revealing and hilarious, these guys are consummate professionals and extremely entertaining company.
Robert Vincent Strings Attached

Winner of Americana Music Association UK’s 2021 ‘Artist Of The Year’ and ‘Album Of The Year’.
Since first catching the attention of Radio 2’s legendary presenter Bob Harris back in 2016 UK Americana artist Robert Vincent has received a plethora of awards and endorsement. He has now established himself both here in the UK and over in Nashville USA as a real force to be reckoned with.
Robert Vincent comes to The Apex with a string quartet, alongside his band.

Omar Sosa and Seckou Keita

Cuban pianist Omar Sosa has released over 30 albums and been nominated for seven GRAMMY or Latin GRAMMY awards. Kora virtuoso, Seckou Keita from Senegal, is a multi-award winner, most recently as the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Folk Musician of the Year (2019).
Their debut album as a duo, ‘Transparent Water’ was hailed as “beautiful, rhapsodic… spiritual” (Songlines) and “mesmerising, evocative and sophisticated” (World Music Central).
Sosa and Keita return to The Apex as they celebrate the release of their second album, ‘Suba’. The band will also feature Gustavo Ovalles on percussion; Jaques Morelenbaum on cello; and Dramane Dembélé on flute. Suba means sunrise in Mandinka, one of Seckou’s languages from Senegal. The album gives a message of hope and unity for a post-COVID world. They will be joined for this gig by the Venezuelan percussionist Gustavo Ovalles.
Ian Waite & Vincent Simone….Act 2

The fabulous Strictly Come Dancing stars promise another evening of dance, comedy and song, with beautiful costumes, gorgeous lighting and world-class routines, including the Viennese Waltz, the Foxtrot, the Rhumba… and of course… the Argentine Tango. The boys will be joined by their stunning dance partners and a world-class singer.
Skerryvore

Fiddle, accordions, pipes and whistles, alongside guitar and vocals, underpinned by driving bass, drums and keys, in a unique fusion of folk, trad, rock and Americana.
Skerryvore represent the best in contemporary Scottish traditional music, winning the ‘Live Act of the Year’ in 2011 and 2016.
