Summer Hockey Training
For boys & girls aged 7-12
(Beginners)
School years 3 to 7


Dates:
Thursdays (6.15 – 7.45pm) April 22nd and 29th 2010
May 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th 2010

Kit: all you need is a t-shirt, shorts, trainers and shin pads. Wear a tracksuit in cool weather. Bring your own stick if you have one or you can borrow a stick from Magpies.

Using Magpies 2 Astro Turf pitches.
Those of you who have not been to Harleston Magpies before you will find that the facilities are some of the best in the East of England. The club has a strong reputation for youth development and runs age group sides for boys and girls. Magpies recently received an award from the Hockey Association in recognition of the quality of its youth program.

This program of 6 sessions will be run
by Magpies coaches Mr D.Brook and Mr N.McAllen. The aim is to introduce and extend the skills of astro turf hockey. Each session will also feature aspects of team play and time for a game.

This course is for beginners (new to Magpies). There will be another course of 6 sessions after the Summer half term for existing club members and players from these sessions who would like to gain more experience.

The cost is £12 for the 6 sessions. Please pay with a cheque made out to Harleston Magpies HC

Directions to Harleston Magpies Hockey Club:
The ground is at Shotford Heath, Weybread near Harleston to the North or Fressingfield to the South., There is a sign post to the club at the crossroad close to fishing lakes. The car park is about 400 metres up that lane on the left.
