Popular artist returns to WLT gallery in Halesworth, 11-13 June 2014

After the success of her first visit to Halesworth, artist Jackie Morris is looking forward to returning to the town in June.

Jackie’s first visit to Halesworth was in May for the launch of the exhibition Song of the Golden Hare at World Land Trust (WLT) gallery in Bridge Street. Song of the Golden Hare is a picture book written and illustrated by Jackie. The original paintings for the book are on display at WLT gallery until 13 June 2014.

During the exhibition’s opening weekend in May, Jackie recreated her studio in one corner of the gallery. Wearing her furry animal hat, she worked on a painting for WLT, chatted to visitors about her artistic technique, and signed copies of her books.

On her return visit Jackie will once again set up her studio in WLT gallery as well as taking part in public events at Halesworth Library on Wednesday 11 June.
