The Arena events are coordinated by our master of the arena Neil Poole-Grant of ‘Adrenalin Head’ and our commentators Paul and Kay. The principal Kite team is Team Spectrum a universally renowned two man team flying many different routines to music during the day. Stafford Wallace one of the world’s leading exponents of Indian Kite flying, demonstrates precision flying with his small Indian kites. The programme also includes teams from the Great Ouse Kite Flyers, Cambridge Kite Flyers and Royston Kite Flyers. Bruno and son’s team called The French Connection fly kites in stacks as well as individually.

Running parallel with the Kite festival is the Hunstanton Classic Car and Motorcycle Rally and Concour D’Elegance with some two hundred entrants. This side of the day is again being organised by Vivian Connolly, the wife of a former President of the Rotary Club of Hunstanton and District.

The vehicles will be on static display until early afternoon when they will join a cavalcade around the arena for prize giving, accompanied by the Harley Davidson Club of Great Britain, attending in strength for the third year running.

Weather permitting we are planning a finalé similar to last year’s flyover by the RED ARROWS
