‘The Marie Curie Project’, by award winning Tangram Theatre, is one of their trademark ‘science meets art’ shows, blending performance with fact in a comedy/drama/musical fusion which has garnered impressive national reviews. This show gives a fascinating account of the life and work of double Nobel Prize-winner Marie Curie, by weaving facts about her ground-breaking radium discoveries with the story of her private life, grief and bravery.
Also at Welborne, are outdoor performances by ‘Sid Bowfin’ a mad-cap musical maestro, who combines hilarious physical comedy with harmonious musicianship. A comedy concerto of a performer.
