“Agnus Dei” Day!
Singing Workshop

Ipswich based choral group New Voices is holding their first singing workshop on 16th April in Debenham.
The workshop will cover four pieces that participants will work on throughout & will be performed at an evening concert set in St Mary’s Church, Debenham. This will include a World Premiere of ‘Agnus Dei’ by Jon Phipps.
Three of the pieces are variations of ‘Agnus Dei’ which has been chosen for their differing styles to challenge the workshop choir & to allow participants to find individual inner strength through singing. One ‘Agnus Dei’ is a specially commissioned piece for the choir by local composer & musician, Jon Phipps.
Local singing teacher and conductor for New Voices, Pamela Vinten will be running the workshop singing sessions throughout the day. Pamela will be joined by respected musicians & conductors from Essex, Hilary Pell and Derrick Thompson to help singers improve their singing skills & work on the four pieces.
