Based on the revealing memoirs of journalist Lynn Barber, this is the story of Jenny, a bright sixteen-year-old growing up in the Swinging Sixties when attitudes to sex are undergoing a sea change. All set to win a place at Oxford her ambition stalls when she becomes involved with a charming man twice her age. Her parents are equally swept off their feet and encourage the relationship, thereby begging the question as to whom is the true villain of the piece.
