BECCLES Christmas Lights Switch On

5.30pm – 9pm
Beccles will be starting the festive season with a spectacular Christmas late night shopping evening and street fair on Friday November 25th.
The fun starts at 6pm with the lights being switched on and the entertainment continues on the stage throughout the evening with many local bands and choirs booked to perform.
Street entertainment to include the very talented Suffolk Samba Band.
The main streets are closed off to traffic and lined with many stalls including food and drink, Christmas gifts and crafts, the famous Beccles Lions Turkey Roast, games to entertain the children and fairground rides including Rock City.
And no Christmas event would be complete without an appearance by the great man himself; Santa has confirmed that he will be there to say hello to all the children.
Many of the great selection of independent shops will be open until late as well as restaurants and pubs.
Also opening that night will be the Hungate Christmas Tree Festival and
St Michaels Christmas market.
