Beccles Theatre Players started performing a few years ago as a small amateur group performing plays and other entertaining items (such as “murder mysteries”) in the function room of The Bear & Bells pub in the Old Market in Beccles.

Singing and dancing do not usually feature in their productions, which tend to favour light hearted comedies which their audience loves and which are great fun to do.

They are currently planning a “murder mystery” to be put on in October and are looking for some more suspects!

Our leader teaches drama in a local school and the age of our members ranges from 16 to 60, so all ages are welcome!

No audition and no previous experience necessary – if you’re interested, you’re in it!
