Big deals at airshow
Give £2 and save pounds at family fun park– plus
animal park discount for all park-and-ride users

Thursday August 12th and Friday August 13th, 2010

Great money-saving offers for two award-winning family attractions near Lowestoft are once again on offer for people attending next week’s Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival on Thursday and Friday.

In a special promotion with platinum sponsors Pleasurewood Hills everyone who puts a minimum voluntary donation of £2 in the Air Festival collection buckets will receive a sticker which includes a “two for one” discount voucher.

This fabulous offer means that everyone using the special voucher to buy one full price adult ticket at Pleasurewood Hills will receive one free entry. This is a big money-saving offer as the normal admission price for adults and children aged 12 and over is £16.50.

Pleasurewood Hills is the home of East Anglia’s greatest rollercoaster “Wipeout” and there are dozens of other rides, shows and attractions for all ages.

And in another special promotion, with gold sponsors Africa Alive, all drivers using the Air Festival’s official park and ride sites at Kessingland and at Dip Farm, Corton, will receive a discount voucher (worth £1 off per person) for Africa Alive.

The African animal adventure park, just off the A12 south of Lowestoft, won Suffolk Coast Tourism Awards in 2008 and 2009.

The cost of using the park and ride facility is £10, the same as last year, and a fleet of modern buses owned by Suffolk County Council will be running a shuttle service to and from both sites to the seafront at 10 to 30-minute intervals.

The two sites will be open from 8am on Thursday July 23, with the first buses leaving at 8.30am. The last return buses for both sites will be 7.30pm.

The Africa Alive voucher will also be given to users of the park and walk site at Pakefield Cliffs, near the Jolly Sailors public house. This car park, where parking is limited, will cost £7 per car on both days.

Welcoming the offers, Air Festival spokesman Barry Hartley said: “We are very grateful to Pleasurewood Hills and Africa Alive for once again sponsoring our Air Festival and making these generous offers.

“These deals proved extremely popular when they were introduced last year and the generosity of the public in making donations in our collection buckets enabled us to go ahead and organise the event again this year.”

Both voucher deals are subject to conditions and availability.
