James Cudmore, Club and Coach Support Officer for Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire) presented Bungay Black Dog Running Club with their Clubmark Award recently. 



The Clubmark scheme is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards. James commented, “They are a really progressive club and have done extremely well to obtain Clubmark so quickly as they only started their junior section about a year ago. The club have also recently obtained Sport England small grants fund and been involved in Sports Unlimited projects which has helped them obtain new equipment and expand their junior section. All the coaches and committee are very enthusiastic and this accreditation is evidence of the good work that is currently taking place within the club.”
