France 2017.  89 minutes.  In French with English subtitles.

Directed by Agnes Varda and JR.

A beguiling French documentary created by veteran New Wave director Agnes Varda in collaboration with JR, a young photographer.  The two set off on a road trip across rural France, exploring villages and small towns and creating portraits of the people they meet on the way.  FACES PLACES is a charming and life-affirming exploration of both the power of community and the inspiration that comes from the most cross-generational of friendships.  ‘A wonderful exercise in memory and merriment.’

The ever popular BUNGAY FILM CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will follow in the bar.

All welcome on the night.
