Set and filmed in Cromer, this gentle romantic comedy starring Roger Lloyd-Pack & Niamh Cusack, revolves around the declining fortunes of the theatre on the pier. Norman (Roger Lloyd-Pack, of TV’s ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES and THE VICAR OF DIBLEY), the manager, has worked there all his life and clings to past glories. Sandra, his long-suffering assistant, longs to become a professional singer. Niamh Cusack and John Hurt lead an able supporting cast.
