The Norfolk Youth Music Trust trustees are delighted to announce that its grants for 2013 have been awarded to:

Violinist, Saxophonist and Singer, Sarah Gure;
Saxophonist, Pianist and Singer, Finlay McEwen;
Trombonist, Pianist and Singer, George Howell;
‘Celliist Thomas Isaac.

An award was also made to the Saxophonist and Pianist, Robert Peck, selected by the University School of East Anglia’s Music School as its outstanding third-year student for the Norfolk Youth Music Trust’s 2012-13 Scholarship.

All winners have been designated as highly-talented and are Norwich residents.

This is the twelfth year the trust has made awards to assist in the training costs of young musicians, many of whom have (or will) proceed to further specialist education to become professionals in due course.

Such awards to Norfolk young musicians now total over £22,500.
