Later this month, the world’s greatest tennis players will go head-to-head on the famous clay courts at Roland Garros in what is set to be another enthralling French Open competition.

Record chasing

World number one and reigning Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic is continuing to break records this season and, after pulling out of the upcoming mandatory Madrid Open due to a much-required rest from action, the Slovakian has sent a clear message to his rivals that he is set to take this latest Grand Slam by storm.

The sublime Serb has already cemented his name in further record books recently by becoming the first player ever to win the first three consecutive ATP Masters events in Indian Wells, Miami and Monte Carlo. Although, all nine Masters in a single calendar year would be an incredible feat, even for such a talented champion.

Multiples

Coral will be offering sensational odds on many winning multiples during a fantastic French Open, with Djokovic potentially a part of those chosen stakes, as well as British number one Andy Murray, legendary sportsman Roger Federer and the king of clay Rafa Nadal who will also contest this year’s prestigious event.

Keep an eye out for further tantalising multiples which will be boosted throughout the rest of the current tennis season, especially in the run up to this sporting spectacle that is the French Open.

Favourite

Currently on an incredible 17-match winning streak, Djokovic is extremely high on confidence and his main challenger Nadal is presently facing a fight to return to his best form before the French Open kicks off.

Although we won’t know until days before the action begins in the French capital of Paris what the match-ups are, Djokovic is already the runaway favourite to triumph, but is closely tracked by fierce Spanish competitor Nadal, sensational Swiss champion Federer and tough Scot Murray.

However, jubilant Japanese player and world number five Kei Nishikori is sure to go far in the event, which is being streamed live on the Coral sports site, and the 25-year-old will undoubtedly cause problems for his fellow top 10 opponents.

With a much-needed rest from the Madrid Open under his belt, deadly Djokovic will be firing on all cylinders when it comes to the eagerly-anticipated prestigious Paris, where he will return 12 months after being toppled by rampant rival Nadal.

No hitches

British hope Murray, who recently tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend, will yet again carry the hopes of Britain on his shoulders at Roland Garros, and later in the year at Wimbledon where he historically emerged victorious in 2013.
