E-Scape is the annual all day festival of live electronic and ambient music held at ‘The Cut Arts Centre’ in Halesworth, Suffolk. The event is hosted by UK record label AD Music who are based in the area, to promote traditional electronic music from around the world.
It usually features AD Music artists but is not exclusive to the label and always includes non AD Music artists. It started as “the Bungay Bash” in 2009 and moved to Halesworth in 2015 as the newly named E-Scape and proved to be very popular.
2016 feature the first UK concert by German synth maestro Bernd Kistenmacher, along with two stalwarts of the UK synth scene, Ian Boddy and Andy Pickford. The line up is completed by two local acts, The Glimmer Room and Translunar, from Cambridge and Colchester respectively.
A unique selling point for the event is that the ticket includes an audio ‘download’ of the event in high rate MP3 or Flac, available after the event. This means fans of the electronic music scene from around the world who are otherwise unable to attend can still hear the music performed at the concert, albeit afterwards, and are also actively supporting their favourite artists and the electronic music scene by so doing.
The cost of your ticket includes an MP3 and/or Flac download, you will be sent links to both. We also provide the music on USB stick for a small additional cost. You have the choice when ordering.
There will also be a demonstration by Modal Electronics of some of their synths, some of which will be used on stage during E-Scape 2016!
