Earsham Festival 2010

The Earsham Festival will take place this year during the weekend of July 9th -11th and once again the emphasis will be on family entertainment.

Activities will start on Friday evening, July 9th, with family entertainment in the village hall at 6.00pm provided by the Chris North Comedy Magic Show.

On Saturday, July 10th, there will be the annual Mini Beer Festival in the village hall from 11.00am until late and a Family Fun Day on the village green in the afternoon. Attractions will include Earsham School dancing display, Bungay High School musicians, Beccles Gym Club display and the Dusty Soup band.

There will be charity stalls, craft stalls, traditional games and competitions, childrens’ craft activities, bouncy castle and other inflatables, swing boats and a variety of refreshments.

Good quality food and music will be available throughout the day with dancing in the village hall in the evening to the music of two local bands.

On both Saturday and Sunday there will be a walking photo trail round the village, with flower displays and a photo competition in All Saints Church. In addition, two local artists in the village will invite the public to visit their studio and view their work.

Morning coffee and cream teas will be available during the weekend at the Church and events will conclude with Songs of Praise on Sunday evening at 5.00pm.
