Welsh harpist with Colombian joropo band Cimarrón.
Catrin Finch is one of the world’s leading harp players, whose career has featured solo performances with the world’s top orchestras and collaborations with leading world music artists, including Senegalese kora player Seckou Keita, with whom she forms “one of the most popular world music acts of this decade” (Tim Cumming, Songlines).
The 6-piece Cimarrón perform joropo dance music from the plains of the Orinoco, rooted in the mestizo mixed heritage of African, Spanish and indigenous cultures, and led by harpist and composer Carlos Rojas. Cimarrón make wild, untamed music, with impetuous singing, amazing stomp dancing and fierce instrumental virtuosity of strings and percussion.

Irish Country star Nathan Carter and his band have had seven Top 10 albums, and hits with ‘Wagon Wheel’ and ‘I Wanna Dance’.
An exciting live performer, his energetic showmanship scored him a prestigious slot performing for Pope Francis in Dublin, as well as shows in the 3Arena Dublin and SSE Arena Belfast. This year, he marked St Patrick’s day with his very own show on BBC Radio Ulster, joined by fellow Country stars Catherine McGrath and Chloe Agnew.
