Commissioning and Tendering

This workshop will be run over two days where you will develop your understanding of the commissioning and procurement process.

Day 1 – Pertinent issues relevant for your organisation will be explored in relation to initiating the tendering process and undertaking a public sector contract. You will be taught to identify risk factors in undertaking the tender process and delivering a public sector contract. You will explore the practical issues surrounding the development and maintenance of partnerships and consortia.

Day 2 – will explore the necessary steps in preparing your organisation for tendering. You will identify key factors in constructing realistic and comprehensive plans and price for the tender process, explore the place of quality standards in meeting the requirement for tendering. Additionally you will examine the requirements for monitoring and evaluation in relation to contract compliance and learn to measure and report the impact of your service delivery.
