Children will rehearse ‘Roquiem’, a powerful and energetic set of five songs, lyrics in Latin, rock style.  For singers this is a great opportunity to sing something challenging and in two parts and children who enjoy dance will learn some exciting choreography and also collaborate with others to devise some of their own moves. These workshops are ideal for those who enjoy both singing dancing, but would also suit those who would just love to spend a morning singing inspirational music.

Some of the Saturday members will be remember the songs which were sung at The Whistler, but for first timers a link to the music online and a lyrics sheet will be made available prior to the workshop so that the rehearsal time can be used to rehearse learning parts, choral singing and choreography.

 

Further opportunities …

Having completed one (or both) of our workshops, children will be invited to join the NEW Fusion Display Team to perform what they have rehearsed at local community events throughout the coming year. The first two events on the horizon that they will be invited to perform at will be the Raveningham Fair on 31^st August and the Beccles Duck Race on 1^st September.

 

Where, when, cost…

Workshops will be held at the Quaker Room in Beccles, on Monday 29^th July and Thursday 29^th August and will run from 10am to 1pm. Juice and biscuit break provided. Cost will be £15 per child, sibling discount available.
