Fusion Musical Theatre
We hope you have had a fantastic Summer. We have enjoyed putting together this short video showing clips from our last Fusion year – please do view and share with friends to show what we do.
Now it’s time to announce that our new musical this term will be ‘Backstage’, an original musical by Hilary Harrison. Rehearsals will begin on 13th September and all members will be involved in three productions at the end of November.
We have two drama groups to choose from, on a Tuesday or a Thursday at 4.30-6pm. These groups involve acting, singing and dancing. Cost is £6 per session.
We are excited to launch a NEW singers only group this term, the Fusion Singers, which is for ALL AGES. This group will sing alongside our drama groups in all three productions. The Fusion Singers will rehearse on a Tuesday from 3.45-4.15 in the Quaker Meeting Room as normal. Cost will be £3 per session (discount for multiple family members).
‘Backstage’ is a modern musical and both our drama and singing groups will enjoy a wide variety of popular music such as Hallelujah from Shrek, Dolly Parton, Madonna and Justin Timberlake to name a few! There will, as always, be one or two energetic dance numbers to challenge our drama groups.
