The Tessa Fuchs Chamber Series

We are proud to present the second year of four spring concerts.

All performances are at The Cut Arts Centre in Halesworth and begin at 3.00pm.

Interval tea and cakes are available at The Cut Café.

There is a 15% discount for patrons buying tickets for any 3 concerts and a Season Ticket for all four at £45.00

The quartet members originate from Germany, Wales, Scotland and Holland and are currently based in London. Since formation they have won numerous prizes and have enjoyed performing in some of the foremost venues in the UK. They have performed extensively throughout Europe and held a residency in Anghiari, Italy. The Quartet has performed live on BBC Radio3’s In Tune programme.

Founded in 2011 at the Royal Academy of Music, the Leporello Quartet are four experienced chamber musicians from the UK, Germany/Brazil, China and Belgium.  They are embarking upon an exciting career together, having given their debut performance at Festival de Quatuor ‘Les Voix Intimes’ in Tournai (Belgium) last September. Last Spring, the quartet were winners of the Wolfe Wolfinsohn Quartet Prize at Royal Academy of Music.

The quartet are delighted to be Leverhulme Chamber Music Fellows at the RAM

First prize winners of the ‘Val Tidone International Chamber Music Competition’, and the Philharmonia Orchestra ‘Martin Musical Scholarship fund’, the Jubilee Quartet was formed in 2006 at the Royal Academy of Music, London, where they currently hold a Leverhulme Chamber Music Fellowship.

The quartet have performed extensively in the UK and their continental tours have included a performance in the presence of former Czech president Vaclav Havel. Future engagements include concerts in Spain a Purcell Room recital in May 2013

In the 2011-12 season, the Gould Piano Trio celebrated its 20th Anniversary, an ensemble with an enviable reputation for musical integrity and imagination, which has continued to evolve since its early success winning the Charles Hennen and Melbourne International Chamber Music competitions.

A constantly developing career reflects their musical energy, with regular tours to the USA since becoming ‘rising stars’ just before the millennium. Recent festivals have included the Bath Mozartfest, Hay-on-Wye (BBC Radio3) and Lofoten International Chamber Music Festival in Norway.
