Popular Poet Pens Poems for the People – Check him out at your local Library!

The much-sought performance poet, Henry Raby invites you to pick up a personalised poem with your library book this October, when he visits Brandon Library on Saturday 11th and Saturday 25th October, with support from the arts and community development charity Creative Arts East.

Henry’s sometimes playful and sometimes touching verse has gained a very enthusiastic fan-base throughout the UK and he is now taking up residence for a day at Brandon Library to chat to customers, hear stories and anecdotes, and weave his magic to make bespoke poems especially for those he talks to.

Two weeks later, after gathering all the tales and chats, Henry will come back to the library, along with a musician to perform their new show ‘Practice Patience’, a specially crafted fusion of spoken word, music, storytelling and theatre. A double delight!

You can meet Henry Raby at Brandon Library on Saturday 11th October from 11am and see his show ‘Practice Patience’ on Saturday 25th October at 11am and 2pm

The Heart of Norfolk PH has a perfectly combined new brew on the menu in the form of a ‘Poet and a Pint’, when the much- sought performance poet Henry Raby arrives on Sunday 12th and Sunday 26th October, with support from the arts and community development charity Creative Arts East.

You can meet Henry Raby at The Heart of Norfolk, Bradenham on Sunday 12th October from 1200 noon and see his show ‘Practice Patience’ on Sunday 26th October at 7.30pm.
