Hindringham Hall Visitors raise over £2400 for charities

Record Visitors at Hindringham Hall Garden Open Day

Nearly 600 people visited Hindringham Hall gardens on Mothers Day recently when the gates were opened as part of the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) In Norfolk.

Over £2400 was raised for the charities supported by the NGS and it was one of the largest donations in recent years. In addition, many children were able to gain free admission to the garden and present their mother with a plant, generously donated by garden owner Linda Tucker.

Linda said “It was a really busy day and marvellous to see so many families enjoying our garden, and the icing on the cake is the amount of money raised going to some extremely worthwhile charities. We owe a special thanks to all the press and media in Norfolk for their help in publicizing the day which certainly played a large part in making it so successful”.
