The founders of mBaSo, an innovative new platform for musicians and their “super fans”, are heading to Cannes after fighting off tough international competition to win the chance to pitch their project to the industry’s leading experts.

Hotly-tipped Norwich Startup, mBaSo, has been selected as a finalist in the internationally renowned music startup competition, Midemlab, and are the only UK company to reach the final.  Previous winners include SoundCloud and Songkick.

Midemlab takes place 28th January in Cannes France at MIDEM, the leading music & tech convention in Europe.  mBaSo will be presenting their revolutionary new online music platform to top executives and leaders in the music industry.  The judging panel includes the VP of Digital Music at Amazon, CTO of Eventbrite and the Director of YouTube Music.

mBaSo (pronounced em-BASE-oh) are about to launch their revolutionary new music platform which allows artists to make regular income by recording new music more often, whilst nurturing a growing loyal fanbase.
