Having recovered from my bank holiday art-DIY-gardening extravaganza, which im sure you all shared, i’d like to invite you to the Random Camel coop this weekend for two days of skillshare in:
Lime plastering – mostly top coat
Applying hemp-lime insulating render, and a lime-cork one too
Repointing internal and external walls
And assorted other jobs around our 3 terraced houses. For photos and details of previous work days see our blog, url at bottom.
I must emphasize that this is a skillshare, we don’t have any professional people or experts coming to teach us or guide us, we’ve just done lots of this work so far already and would to share with anybody interested. There is a lime plaster course being taught at orchard barn soon which i would recommend!
We will serve you tea and coffee, and lunch, and if you have any tools like hawk, float, protective gear like gloves and hair wraps/scarves, old clothes, do bring, but we have a stock of our own.
We’ll aim for a timetable of 10am – 5pm both saturday and sunday, please bring your eager and enthusiastic selves and friends!
