“I have always loved photography but started to take it seriously this year, my aim is to become semi-professional as I have reached the time in my life when I would like to pursue my passion.

The areas I most enjoy are landscape and wildlife, this suits my great love of the outdoors and being active. 

In my landscape work I like to capture natural atmospheric images with as little post-image editing as possible. 

As for the wildlife photography I derive great pleasure from searching riverbanks, woodlands and farmland to spot species I am interested in and then planning on how I am going to capture the images I seek. 

Obviously this is extremely challenging and time consuming but as in the Kingfisher series when it is successful it gives me huge satisfaction.”
