Last month saw nearly 1,250 buyers through the door and an amazing amount of business done – one or two stallholders just about ran out of stock! This month we will have more stallholders than ever – we are being joined by fifteen new dealers to make well over 100 stalls selling an ever wider range of antiques and collectables.
Don’t forget the new entrance to the fair is the automatic glass door in the corner of the Plain by the noticeboard – just follow the bunting! All your favourite dealers will be there selling what you’re looking for, what you didn’t realise you were looking for and what you can’t bear to leave without! The range of goods for sale becomes wider, more interesting and enticing at each fair. The beautiful travelling dressing table in the photograph above is from Stuart who you will find in Blackfriars’ Hall – on your right as you enter the fair.
On sale this month will be: *badges *books *breweriana *buttons *cigarette cards *coins *ceramics *clocks *dolls *ephemera *fabrics *frames *furniture *games *glass *jewellery *kitchenalia *lace *linens *medals *memorabilia *metalware *militaria *mirrors *pictures *postcards *prints *records *silver *stamps *teddy bears *tools *toys *treen *vintage clothes and accessories *watches and so much more.
Remember to write your email address on the back of your entrance ticket and drop it into the box on the desk when you leave, for a chance to win £20 of vouchers to spend at the fair.
The Big Switch and Save campaign will be on hand to offer advice and information about saving money on your utility bills via your local council.
Bring along your latest gas and electricity bills to see whether they can save you money.
After Saturday our last fair of the year will be our big Christmas Nostalgia Fair on Saturday 14 December.
I am planning a special treat so don’t miss it!

We are being joined by 15 new dealers who will have plenty of fresh stock including silver, arts and crafts, art deco and art nouveau, vintage clothes and jewellery, pictures and picture frames, ephemera and books, sheet music, vinyl records, painted pine furniture, vintage gowns, handbags and fur coats, ceramics, glass, bronzes and marble, vintage sewing collectables, textiles, lace, linen, writing slopes and boxes, treen, toy cars, vintage teddy bears, tools, kitchenalia, and so much more.
The charity we are supporting this month is The Norwich-Dedza Partnership which does amazing work in Malawi and will have handifcrafts from Malawi for sale.
