A day of workshops & networking about and for intentional communities.
Provisional programme:
- How to set up a housing co-op with Rob and others from the Drive coop in Walthamstow
- Introduction to CoHousing from Barney of Cohousing UK and KATCH cohousing in Berkshire
- Case studies:from local communities: Random Camel Housing Co-op, Argyle St Housing Co-op, Lodge Farm, Old Hall inc. tour!
- Consensus: More than jazz hands? with Leslie & co. from London Community CoHousing: Consensus decision making is often used by those organising struggles. But it can become stale and narrow being seen purely as a technique to run meetings. In this participatory workshop we aim to look at what underpins consensus as an alternative life model.
- LUNCH – local and dairy/gluten-free specialities
- Matchmaking! In order to turn dreams into reality with other participants. With Gemma of Random Camel, Ipswich
- Forming a group/ Visioning/ Action Planning with Charlotte of Transition Network PARALLEL TO Development and Troubleshooting session for established groups
